Terms of Use
1. Agreement to These Terms
By installing or using QuickMeet (the "Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not install or use the Extension. Your continued use of the Extension after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. What QuickMeet Is
QuickMeet is a browser extension for Chromium-based desktop browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi) that generates meeting links for supported providers — currently Google Meet, Jitsi Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams — with a single click, and copies the generated link to your clipboard. Cisco Webex and Zoho Meeting are planned for a future version and are not currently active.
QuickMeet is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC, Zoom Video Communications, Microsoft Corporation, Jitsi, Cisco Systems, or Zoho Corporation. All product names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
3. License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, QuickMeet grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, free-of-charge license to install and use the Extension for personal or business meeting-scheduling purposes.
4. Restrictions on Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Use the Extension in a manner that violates the Terms of Service of Google, Zoom, Microsoft, Jitsi, or any other integrated provider
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code of the Extension except to the extent permitted by applicable law
- Redistribute, resell, or offer the Extension as part of a paid service without our written permission
- Use the Extension to generate meeting links for spam, harassment, fraud, or other harmful purposes
- Attempt to overwhelm, degrade, or interfere with the Cloudflare-hosted Zoom relay described in the Privacy Policy (Section 3b), or use the relay for any purpose other than generating Zoom meetings on your own behalf via the Extension
- Circumvent rate-limiting or other technical controls we may put in place to prevent abuse
5. Third-Party Meeting Providers
QuickMeet integrates with third-party meeting services. Your use of those services is governed by each provider's own terms and privacy policies, not by these Terms:
- Google Meet — policies.google.com/terms
- Zoom — explore.zoom.us/en/terms/
- Microsoft Teams — microsoft.com/servicesagreement
- Jitsi Meet — jitsi.org/meet-jit-si-privacy/
You are responsible for maintaining an account in good standing with the provider you choose, complying with that provider's terms, and honoring the meeting participants' privacy and consent expectations. QuickMeet has no control over the availability, features, or content of any third-party provider and is not liable for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by any provider.
6. OAuth Authorization
For providers that require sign-in (currently Zoom and Microsoft Teams), you authorize QuickMeet to create meetings on your behalf through the provider's official OAuth flow. Access tokens are stored locally on your device (see Privacy Policy Section 3). You may revoke this authorization at any time by clicking "Disconnect" in the Extension, uninstalling the Extension, or revoking access from within your Zoom or Microsoft account settings.
7. Fees
The Extension is provided free of charge. QuickMeet does not currently charge for use of the Extension and has no plans to introduce fees. If a paid tier is ever introduced, it will be optional and will not restrict access to the current free feature set of the Extension.
8. Availability and Modifications
QuickMeet is provided on a best-effort basis. We may, at any time and without prior notice:
- Add, modify, or remove features of the Extension
- Discontinue support for a specific provider (for example, if a provider changes its API)
- Suspend or terminate the Extension or the Zoom relay described in the Privacy Policy
- Update these Terms — material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
Because the Extension is free and provided as-is, we do not guarantee uptime, feature stability, or backward compatibility.
9. No Warranty
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH FUTURE VERSIONS OF ANY BROWSER OR THIRD-PARTY PROVIDER.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL QUICKMEET, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE EXTENSION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN JURISDICTIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. SINCE THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, ANY AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO A NOMINAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED USD $10.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify QuickMeet and its developers from and against any third-party claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Extension, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the terms of any third-party provider you use through the Extension.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser. Uninstalling immediately deletes all locally stored preferences and OAuth tokens. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension or the Zoom relay at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that grants you a mandatory right to bring claims in your local courts under the local law, that right is not limited by this section.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the intent of the original.
15. Changes to These Terms
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should uninstall the Extension.
