Support
1. What to include in your message
The more we know up front, the faster we can help. A useful bug report usually includes:
- What you were trying to do — for example, "create a Zoom link" or "connect my Microsoft Teams account"
- What happened instead — the exact error message if any, or a description of the unexpected behavior
- Which provider — Google Meet, Jitsi, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams
- Your browser and version — for example, "Chrome 128 on Windows 11" (find your version at
chrome://version) - QuickMeet version — visible on
chrome://extensionsafter enabling Developer mode - A screenshot if the issue is visual (please don't include a screenshot that shows your OAuth tokens or personal calendar contents)
2. Common issues you can fix yourself
The extension icon isn't in the toolbar
Chrome sometimes hides new extensions behind the puzzle-piece icon. Click the puzzle piece in the toolbar, find QuickMeet in the list, and click the pin icon next to it.
Zoom sign-in loops back to the popup without connecting
This usually means your Zoom account has restrictions on external apps. Ask your Zoom admin to enable Marketplace apps for your account, or try with a personal Zoom account.
Microsoft Teams sign-in works but no meeting is created
Microsoft's API only supports Teams meeting creation for work or school accounts, not personal accounts — this is Microsoft's policy, not something QuickMeet can work around. Try with a work/school Microsoft 365 account.
Google Meet fails silently
QuickMeet opens a background tab at meet.google.com to generate the link. If you're signed out of Google in your default browser profile, or you use a Chrome profile without a Google account, the link will fail to generate. Sign in at accounts.google.com in the same Chrome profile.
Nothing is copied to my clipboard
QuickMeet uses Chrome's clipboardWrite permission via an offscreen document. If your organization's group policy blocks clipboard access for extensions, the copy step will silently fail. Check with your IT admin — the fix is to allowlist the extension in Chrome Enterprise policy.
3. Report a bug or request a feature
Both go to the same address — quickmeet@eightai.work — because there are only a handful of us and centralizing the queue is the simplest way to make sure nothing gets lost. Feature requests are welcome; we can't promise every idea will ship, but we do read all of them.
4. Security disclosures
If you've found a security issue in the Extension or in the Cloudflare-hosted Zoom relay (described in the Privacy Policy Section 3b), please email us at quickmeet@eightai.work with "SECURITY" in the subject line. Please don't post security details publicly before we have had a chance to respond and, if needed, deploy a fix. We aim to respond to security reports within 2 business days.
5. Response times and coverage
- Bug reports: initial reply within 2-3 business days
- Security reports: initial reply within 2 business days
- Feature requests: we read every one; may not reply individually if we've already logged the idea
- Support language: English
- Support hours: we're a small team, not 24/7. Responses arrive during Indian Standard Time business hours (Mon-Fri).
6. What we can't help with
- Recovering your Zoom, Google, Microsoft, or Jitsi account — contact those providers directly
- Configuring your organization's Zoom or Microsoft admin settings — that's your IT team
- Meetings themselves — QuickMeet only creates the link; the meeting happens on the provider's platform
- Third-party extensions or tools that integrate with QuickMeet — those are not maintained by us
